Over the last 18 hours we have secured continued supply for Telstra mobile network customers with an alternate supplier. Unfortunately this will require a new SIM card to be issued to all our Telstra mobile network customers. We have attempted to make arrangements so that this didn’t have to happen but unfortunately new SIM cards need to be issued.

These new SIMs are being express posted to our customers today and it is anticipated that the cut-over to the new SIM will occur around midday 11th June 2015 (tomorrow).

Oncue Telecom has this afternoon been made aware that the following SMS message was sent to our mobile end users:

“This is an important message: The wholesale provider for this mobile service, IVNX Group, has ceased trading and this service is to be cancelled. This service will be suspended on Thursday 11 June and cancelled altogether in one month. Once suspended only emergency 000 calls can be made from this service but you can port your number to a new provider. Please contact the retailer who sold you this service or a new mobile provider for more information about your options.”

We are currently working on a supply agreement for continuity of service with an alternate wholesaler and more information about this change will be provided as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience while this is undertaken. We will keep customers updated via our Facebook page, website and more specific information via email.

Oncue Telecom values all our customers business and greatly appreciate your patience while we resolve this unexpected issue. We were not aware of the potential problem with our wholesale providers supply agreement and thus were not able to take action sooner.
